Single Adult Ministries is a fellowship that provides the opportunity and encouragement to single adults (whether never married, divorced, or widowed) for getting acquainted with other singles for the purpose of reflecting, discussing issues, studying God’s Word, singing, praying, interacting, resting, traveling, and enjoying God’s great outdoors.

How Adventist Single Adult Ministries (ASAM) formed
In October 2003, the newly formed North American Division Single Adult Ministries Committee met for the first time. ASAM is organized as a function of the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church under Family Ministries. It was voted to hold an annual ASAM
The NAD Single Adult Ministries Committee was officially voted by the North American Division Committee on Administration on December 3, 2003 as a standing committee of the North American Division, thus acknowledging the official existence of ASAM.
