Women's Ministry Leader: Deaconess Marian Miller
The Women's Ministries of New Life help nurture our members and bring awareness to the Women in our lives.
The Women's Ministries department of the Seventh-day Adventist church was first proposed by Mrs. Sarepta Myrenda Irish Henry in 1898 to “organize women to encourage one another, study Scripture, and make their lives count for Jesus.”
The Bible give us several examples of women that made great contributions to their God, their families, and their communities. Women such as Tabitha (also known as Dorcas), Deborah, Miriam, Mary, Esther, and Ruth are just a few of the names that stand out. The Women's Ministries department is continually working to find ways to carry on the traditions of service of these great women.
